Collaboration of Sebastien Caporusso x Ashtari Carpets

The collaboration between designer Sebastien Caporusso and Ashtari blossomed from a mutual admiration for each other’s work. Ashtari has consistently found inspiration in Sebastien’s pure and distinctive creations, crafted from the most exquisite materials. The shared pursuit of perfection served as a common ground that brought us together. Sebastien, in turn, harbored a profound fascination for hand-knotted carpets, appreciating every step of the intricate process involved in bringing these pieces to life.

It was through this shared passion that the idea to design two beautiful carpets emerged during our interactions. Sebastien contributed his unique designs, and Wendy Guns played a pivotal role in overseeing the entire carpet production process, ensuring meticulous attention to detail from start to finish. The outcome is truly impressive – two exceptionally distinct designs that we launched at the Collectible design fair. Path and Moon.

Inspiration designerrug Path

The rug "PATH" inspires reflection on life's journey. Life is a winding path of choices and opportunities, with challenges along the way. Each step brings you closer to your dreams. The rug's design symbolizes this journey, with the path representing your unique path and the blue spot signifying moments of serenity. As the path continues, so does your journey, filled with endless possibilities.

Inspiration designerrug Moon

The "Moon" designer rug is a fusion of nature and celestial beauty, inspired by the serene landscape of the moon and the vibrant shades of green found in nature. Designer Sebastien Caporusso envisioned a piece that blends the rugged, textured surface of the moon with the richness of Earth's greenery.
