Lancering van "Lost in desert" collectie by Ashtari Carpets

De “Lost in desert”-collectie van Ashtari Carpets is een nomadische etnische kilim-collectie geïnspireerd op de weefsels van nomadische stammen in Pakistan en Iran.

We combineerden weeftechnieken met handgesponnen en machinaal gesponnen wolgarens in een modernistisch kleurenpalet. Geïnspireerd door de elementen water, lucht, aarde en vuur creëerden we een harmonieuze collectie die op een esthetische architecturale manier gecombineerd kan worden. Nomadisme en modernisme zijn met elkaar verweven.

“Lost in desert” collection by Ashtari Carpets is a nomadic ethnic kilim collection inspired by the weavings of nomadic tribes in Pakistan and Iran. We combined weaving techniques with handspun and machine spun wool yarns in a modernistic color palette. Inspired by elements water, air, earth and fire we created a harmonious collection which can be combined in an esthetic architectural manner. Nomadism and modernism intertwined.
